Japan and Reader Request
"HEY DUDE! JAPAN! ______ AND I ARE HERE" Alfred aka the loudest American with a heart bigger than his brain, yelled into Japan's house.
"There is only two volumes to your voice isn't there? Loud and louder." ______mumbled under her breath, following the American into the house. The house was beautiful, so spacious and clean. Here recently, Kiku has been doing some work on his home and wanted _____ to come. Alfred was her ride there and then he was going to leave to annoy Arthur while the nations were in Japan. _____ just sighed as Alfred's voice boomed in Japan's house. To be frank, _____ was rather attracted to the Japanese man, so quiet, polite and oh so cute. Just thinking about him caused a light dusting of a blush to appear on her cheekbones, not leaving the foyer. Even though she was welcome to his home any time she wished, it was still odd to walk in without invitation. Alfred looked around, his voice still booming as he searched for Japan. She looked up to find a very confused Alfred. He scratched his head and gave her a shrug.
"I have no idea where he is." He shrugged.
"He probably knows we are here. I bet he will come around the corner, slightly agitated for the fact we walked into his house!" She hissed, really wanting to hit him in the head.
"Whatever _____. Hey Japan!" Alfred started to wave like a lunatic at Japan as he walked into the room.
"Konnichiwa America-san and ____-san." He greeted them, his face composed in utter peace. _____ smiled, causing light blush appeared on his cheeks. A smirk painted on the Americans face, so he started to walk out of the house.
"So here she is! Have fun you too~" He grinned on the matching blushes on their faces. If looks could kill, he would have been dead already.
"You hang around France too much…" She growled, but a pity that Alfred already left by the time she said it. Silence flooded the house, but it was comfortable.
"How are you _____-san" Japan asked, a small hint of a smile appeared on his lips.
"I'm well thank you. I would like to see what you have been up to here lately." She smiled, tilting her head to the side.
"Follow me."He answered, started to walk towards the back of the house with ____ following closely. The house was nicely decorated as she ran her fingertips along the walls. Occasionally Japan would look behind him to make sure ____ was following him. She was completely lost in her own thoughts, he couldn't help but to wonder what she is thinking. Pausing in front of the door to the backyard, nervousness started to take effect.
"Do me a favor _____-san. Close your eyes." He asked, not looking at her.
"May I ask why?" she asked, resting her hand on her hip.
"Please." He said. With a sigh, she rested her hand over her eyes but then startled by Japan gently grabbing her other hand as he led her outside into the moonlit night. The wind ruffled their hair when they finally stopped. Letting go of her hand, _____ had a slight feeling of panic.
"Open them." When ____ open her eyes, it was the most beautiful thing in the world. A waterfall came tumbling down into a pool of water with white water lilies that glowed with the moonlight. A couple of Koi fish swam throughout their watery home, paying no attention to the humans above. Covering her mouth, she had no words to say. It was the most peaceful and beautiful thing she has ever seen.
"There is more." He said, she rested her hand into his outstretched one as they made their way to one side of the garden. There stood a bench, with (favorite flowers) grew around it. Tears started to spill as she took everything in.
"It is so beautiful Kiku." She said, squeezing his hand.
"I'm glad you riked it." He started to blush at the gesture. She let go of his hand and rested on the bench overlooking the rest of the garden. A light and comfortable silence came between them, Japan sat beside her, now pleased on how she reacted.
"I do have to ask though, why did you build this?" She asked, the question had been buzzing in her head since he asked her a couple of days ago.
"I wanted some change." He answered, taking in the scenery before him. This was his work, and a sense of pride overcame is usual humble matter. _____ sighed but somehow she sensed that there is more to this than he was going to tell her.
"That is a good reason but I cannot help but to think that isn't the reason why you asked me here." She said, watching Japan fumble with his hands and a blush appeared on his cheeks. 'I thought so' she thought, watching him become more uneasy by the second. ____ scooted closer to him, just an inch from touching him. The blush got deeper when Japan noticed the movement.
"Japan, why did you want me here?" She asked again, making him look at her. His brown eyes spoke far louder than he ever could with his own voice. In all honesty, he is worrying her. He is usually honest with her within reason.
"I wanted to show you my new garden." He answered in a dignified matter. But that thought in the back of her head still nagged at her.
"I got that bit a while ago. There is another reason." She pressed the matter. Silence hummed between them, this time it was very awkward which is confirming that thought that is nagging worse than a spoiled brat to a parent because he wants something.
"Hai." He whispered, found a new interest at the flowers that grew at his feet.
"You can tell me Kiku. I won't judge" She urged him, unknowingly held his hand for comfort.
"I built it to remind me of you."He responded finally, now looking _____ in the eyes.
"Why on earth would you do such a thing? I mean, I'm not special.."She said, shaking her head in disbelief. She wasn't sure what to think at this point.
"That is where you are wrong _____-san. You are speciar to me. You arways have been." Now it was ____ turn to blush. His confidence wasn't fantastic when he spoke those words but she knew he meant every letter. The silence has not gotten any less awkward, it was even more so. They sat there, staring into the starry night. Before she knew it, she felt a pair of soft lips on hers. It was gone as swiftly as it started.
"I-I am so sorry _____-san! I don't know what came over me…." He was cut off by ____ kissing him.
"Don't apologize. I love you too Kiku." She said with the sweetest smile and as bright as a tomato. She slid her hand back in his.
